Mold is GONE and Kiltz is Covering Where the Mold Was

THANKS again for your prayers.

The maintenance man, Ruben, came today and applied Kiltz to seal where the mold had been. He will return to put paint over that area in my walkin closet and bedroom later.

THANKFULLY by respiration has returned to normal. I do not wake up with a stuffy head and sluggish. PART of the healing is due to not living so close to the mold. And part of that is due to answers to MANY prayers.

Over the weekend I had used straight vinegar on the mold with a spray bottle and sponge. That quickly knocked out more than 95 percent of the trouble. After that dried I came behind with baking soda and water. After that dried I came behind that with Borax and water. When these 3 had been applied only a hint of the mold could be seen.

I told those at church that vinegar is my new best friend. It is super powerful, cheap, and does not hurt my eyes like bleach did.

LEARNING
Now I can turn my full attention to completing the online course Foundations of Media Strategy http://www.missionmediau.org/courses/foundations-of-media-strategy/ This is taught by a missionary that has used online ways to engage with unreached peoples. God blessed me with a scholarship.

There are 21 people from more than 10 counties in the cohort of this 5 week course. We come together on a video conference call Thursday mornings that is 9 AM my time. There is a blend of short videos, blog posts, and provocative questions to use between our times together.

God has been using the provocative homework questions to get me thinking in strategic ways that I had never considered. I turn those answers in for the teacher for his comments. And there is a discussion board for me to interact with others in the class.

Please pray for God to grant me plenty of time and energy to work on this course. There have been many distractions to deal with that have kept me from this top priority project. It has been a struggle to MAKE time to do the homework. Yet there are times when I am in the flow while working on the homework that I feel very close to the Lord Jesus Christ.

May I abide in the True Vine, the Lord Jesus Christ, and bear much fruit for the glory of God.

This class came to my attention shortly after I felt the Lord leading me to create the online MOOC starting this summer when the high school and college students are out of class.

There are many other preparations to be made before June first. But with the results of this course I will have a useful framework to guide the design and management of the ministry.

Thanks again for your prayers.

Watch for a simple summary of what I learned in this course. And there will be links to the details for those who want those.

Shalom

John
