Sick Day Today

When I got up this morning I had a case of constipation.

All I could do was think about the dull ache in my gut.

I stared at the ceiling and dozed off many times.

It took until early afternoon to rally the strength to go buy laxative.

Then by early evening the laxative did its work.

I was reminded that I have a mortal body.

I am a robot.

I must take care of this temple of the Holy Spirit.

I did not have a fever or any other symptoms.

I guess it was a combination of what I consumed, stress and the heat.

I am feeling very weak.

I can think briefly about something besides my body.

I have never had anything like this before.

I have lost about a day of productivity to recover.

I appreciate every prayer for my health.

I still have faith in God to guide and provide.

Pray for me to use all my time at the missionary housing most effectively.

What remains of the fund raising goal of 1000 dollars is 345 dollars.

Pray for God to guide me in raising those funds graciously.

I will hear more from the Marriot connection tomorrow.

UPDATE

I was sick today.

I hope and expect to be better tomorrow.

Please pray for my health.

PRAYERS

Thank You Lord for wisely installing the immune system in human bodies. Thanks for the over the counter medications as well as prescription medicines. Thanks for doctors, nurses, clinics and hospitals.

Thanks healings that come just from answered prayers. Thank You Lord for your love for us expressed in these practical ways.

Thank You Lord, that You call our body the temple of the Holy Spirit. Teach us and guide us to take excellent care of our body while on earth. Thank You Lord, for the promise of our resurrection body that we will have throughout all eternity.

Thank You Lord that we live in a country and an era where we access to so many medical aids. It is not true all around the globe or in the USA centuries ago.
